AI Consulting for Brands That Reach Families.

I advise corporations, mid-sized companies and startups across the DACH region on the use of artificial intelligence in family and children's communication. Not from theory: my own AI products in production, AI adoption inside my own agency of more than 20 people, proprietary market research. 25 years of industry experience.

Experience is my foundation. Innovation my tool. AI my accelerator.

Does This Sound Familiar?

Our AI pilots never make it into regular operations.

According to McKinsey State of AI 2025, 88 percent of companies use AI, but only 33 percent scale it enterprise-wide. I prioritise the two to three use cases that actually carry weight in your value chain and accompany them into operations.

Our team uses AI, but everyone does it differently.

Without shared guardrails you get quality gaps, duplicated work and legal risk. I solved this inside my own agency of more than 20 people and align ways of working, approvals and responsibilities with your structure.

We have AI tools, but no data foundation for families as a target group.

Without reliable first-party data, AI produces fast mediocrity. Through the FACT family panel with more than 30,000 family members in the DACH region, we put your decisions on a verified basis.

We do not know what is permitted when using AI in children's communication.

Since 2 August 2026, the transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act apply. Article 5 has prohibited the exploitation of vulnerability due to age since February 2025. I classify your use cases along the AI Act, the DSA guidelines on the protection of minors and the JMStV.

Our product launch for children is not working.

I have guided over 50 brands through launches, from positioning to media planning. AI shortens research and variant creation, the assessment remains manual work.

We need someone to take interim responsibility for family marketing and AI.

I lead teams, build structures and processes and hand over a functioning system.

About: Rolf Kosakowski

Rolf Kosakowski advises brands that want to reach children, parents and families on the use of artificial intelligence. The basis is 25 years of building, developing and scaling business models in the family sector.

From the beginning, my entrepreneurial focus has been on transforming ideas into sustainable, scalable structures. This includes building one of the first pizza delivery services of its kind in Germany, from operational execution to successful market establishment.

This entrepreneurial mindset continues to this day. Brands, products, and communication are consistently approached from a growth and future perspective.

This foundation is complemented by technological innovation, data-driven strategy and the targeted use of artificial intelligence. Not as an end in itself, but as a tool for precision, speed and sustainability in family marketing.

The way of working is AI-supported, not AI-driven. Models take over research, variant creation and analysis. Judgement, attitude and responsibility towards families as a target group remain human.

I would be happy to discuss how family marketing can be strategically advanced and positioned for the future.

Questions and Answers

What does Rolf Kosakowski do?

Rolf Kosakowski is an AI and family marketing consultant based in Hamburg. He advises brands with children, parents and families as their target group on the use of generative AI. He is co-founder and managing director of KB&B, Family Marketing Experts, a specialist agency for children's and family marketing in the DACH region, founded in 1999.

What sets AI in family marketing apart from generic AI marketing?

Families are a regulated and sensitive target group. Since 2 August 2026, the transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act apply. Article 5 has prohibited the exploitation of vulnerability due to age since February 2025. Added to this are the DSA guidelines on the protection of minors and the JMStV. AI needs industry substance here, not just model expertise.

Which services does Rolf Kosakowski offer?

Four formats: AI strategy consulting with a roadmap, one-day AI workshops for marketing teams, interim management for family marketing and AI adoption, and ongoing sparring for CMOs and management. Mandates run across the DACH region, in German and English.

What qualifies Rolf Kosakowski for AI projects?

Three proofs from my own practice. Built myself: the AI-based children's audio app StoryWonder with brand partners such as PLAYMOBIL, BABY born, WAS IST WAS and Cavalluna, plus the knowledge podcast Wirklich wahr! with AI-generated voices, disclosed in every episode. Introduced myself: an AI-supported way of working in an agency of more than 20 people. Collected myself: FACT family, a panel with more than 30,000 family members in the DACH region.

Which companies is the consulting relevant for?

Corporations, mid-sized companies and startups in the DACH region with products or services for children, parents or families. A typical entry point is an AI readiness check along the marketing value chain, resulting in a prioritised roadmap with two to three use cases.

Why do many AI projects in marketing fail to reach operations?

Rarely because of the technology. According to McKinsey State of AI 2025, 88 percent of companies use AI, but only 33 percent scale it enterprise-wide. For 2026, Gartner cites immature processes, weak data foundations and missing governance as the main reasons. The bottleneck lies in the data, not in the model.

How is brand visibility changing through AI answer systems?

Visibility is shifting from the results list into the answer. For Germany, SISTRIX measures a drop in the click rate for position 1 from 27 to 11 percent as soon as an AI Overview appears. At the same time, an analysis by Omniscient Digital covering 23,387 sources shows: 48 percent of the content cited by AI comes from third parties, only 23 percent from a company's own website.

How does a collaboration start?

With a conversation. Enquiries via hallo@rolfkosakowski.de or via the quick check on this site are usually answered by me personally within 24 hours. A written proposal with scope, timeframe and effort follows.
